The Studies Economic Media Center (SEMC) is a civil society organisation which aims to contribute to a more transparent and diversified economic system in Yemen by means of research publications and different events. In addition, SEMC pursues the education of journalists who are specialised in socio-economic issues. SEMC collaborates with public as well as private institutions as well as with international organisations.
ESDR Center - Yemen is a scientific, civil, non-profit organization founded in 2011 responding to community needs for scientific research, surveying, disseminating knowledge, supporting socioeconomic development, improving food security, developing small enterprises, providing work opportunities, empowering people economically, and fighting against unemployment and corruption. It also aims at improving business environment, encouraging international trade, taxation reform, and supporting social justice values.
The Economic Observatory for Studies and Consultancy (EOSC) is an independent think tank composed of a group of economic and social scientiests, with parts of them employed in governmental institutions. With their research they provide expertise on socio-economic questions and counsel governments as well as private commercial institutions. In doing so, EOSC is guided by principles of social market economy.

Deep Root is a consultancy company which offers consultation and expertise on political and socio-economic questions to organisations of international development cooperation, the private sector, local civil society organisations and the Yemeni government. Founded by reform-oriented youth who have years of experience working in the field of civil society organisations, Deep Root conducts studies and analyses and stands out due to its large network of experts and analysts.

Support Yemen uses creative arts as a tool for social change. The Social Democratic Forum (SDF), founded in 2005, is a civil society organisation dedicating its work to dialogue, human rights, social justice and good governance. It bases is work on values such as transparency, accountability and solidarity.
The Wujoh Foundation for Media and Development is an independent civil society organization dedicated to supporting a professional media landscape. In their trainings with journalists, Wujoh puts a strong emphasis on reporting on topics of development policy. It supports initiatives, which support the independence of media. Wujoh foundation also works in support of women, youth and humanitarian issues.
The Wojood Foundation for Human Security is a civil society organisation with an emphasis on human rights work. Beyond that, Wojood supports activities which support the sociopolitical participation of women and youth.
